Clément Guillon

Clément Joseph Marie Raymond Guillon CIM (* April 27, 1932 in Plessé, Loire -Atlantique, France, † July 9, 2010 in Redon, Ille -et -Vilaine, Brittany ) was bishop of Quimper.

Life

Clément Guillon joined the Congregation of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary in, laid on August 15, 1964, the profession from and received on 5 May 1957, the ordination. He was Superior General of the Congregation 1971 until 1983. From 1983 to 1988 he was head of the education and training of priests, religious members and deacons in the Diocese of Evry -Corbeil -Essonnes.

Pope John Paul II appointed him on 17 March 1988 Coadjutor Bishop of Quimper. The episcopal ordination took place on 10 April of the same year by the Bishop of Quimper, Francis Barbu; Co-consecrators were François Armand M. Le Bourgeois CIM, Bishop of Autun, and Guy Herbulot, Bishop of Corbeil. After the retirement Francis Jules Joseph Marie Barbus he followed them as bishop of Quimper.

On 7 December 2007 Benedict XVI accepted. its age-related resignation.
