CNH Global

CNH Global was a public company for Agricultural Engineering and Construction, which arose from the Company Case and New Holland. CNH Global later merged with the majority owner of CNH Fiat Industrial to Industrial.

CNH is after Deere & Company is the second largest producer of agricultural machinery worldwide. The more than 30,000 employees of CNH Global achieved a turnover of 19.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2012.

To the Group includes the combined business segment Agricultural Equipment three brands Case IH, New Holland and Steyr. The machinery are sold under the brand names Case and New Holland Construction.

History

In November 1999, the New Holland bought N.V. the Case Corporation and named in CNH Global NV order. The European Union agreed because multiple business units, factories and series, mainly Case, were transferred to competitors. Among the requirements of the Merger, the sale of McCormick brand and the plant in Doncaster (UK), which went to the ARGO Group of the Italian Morra family, as well as the divisions Versatile belonged ( to the Canadian Buhler Industries) and Fermec ( to the U.S. American Terex ). Group structure

CNH is a company incorporated under Dutch law and is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The Company prepares its financial statements on a quarterly basis in accordance with U.S. GAAP. With the year 2002 began an involvement of CNH in the company Kobelco Construction Machinery of Kobe Steel, which ended with the 2012. Kobelco designs and manufactures hydraulic excavators, the CNH could exclusively market away from Asia and Australia and some manufactures under license.

Since 2006, the European headquarters of its Case IH and Steyr has its headquarters in St. Valentin ( Lower Austria), where Steyr prior to the merger had a production facility.

Brands

CNH markets its products globally through two brand families Case and New Holland. Case IH (along with Steyr in Europe) and New Holland make up the family of brands of agricultural machinery, CE Case and New Holland Construction (along with Kobelco in North America), the family brand for sale. Each brand has its own spare parts and after sales services.

Also belonging to CNH still do not currently marketed brands Braud, Claeys, Poclain, Fiatagri, Flexicoil, Fordson, International Harvester and O & K.

CNH Financial Services provides dealers and customers in North America, Australia, Brazil and Western Europe on financial services. The customer finance takes place in Western Europe through a joint venture with BNP Paribas Lease Group.
