Codex Guelferbytanus A
The Codex Guelferbytanus A ( Gregory -Aland no Pe or 024; von Soden ε 33 ) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament, which is dated to the 6th century. The manuscript is not complete.
Description
It consists of the four Gospels on 44 parchment leaves ( 26.5 x 21.5 cm). The uncial letters are great. The nomina sacra ads in this fragment are: ΙΣ, ΧΣ ( Christos, Christ ), ΚΣ ( Kurios, Lord ) ΘΣ, ΥΣ, ΠΗΡ, ΠΝΑ, ΙΛΗΜ, ΑΝΟΣ, and ΔΑΔ.
The manuscript is a palimpsest, the upper Latin text contains the " Origines " and letters of Isidore of Seville ( such as the Codex Guelferbytanus B).

The Greek text of Codex represents the Byzantine text-type and the category V is assigned.
The Codex is kept in the Herzog August Bibliothek ( White Castle 64) in Wolfenbüttel.
