Codex Tischendorfianus IV

The Codex Tischendorfianus IV ( Gregory -Aland no Γ or 036; von Soden ε 70 ) is a Greek manuscript of the New Testament, which is dated to the 9th century. The handwriting is not completely preserved.

Description

The manuscript contains the four Gospels on 257 parchment leaves with five gaps (Matthew 5.31 to 6.16; 6.30 to 7.26; 8.27 to 9.6; 21:19 to 22:25, Mark 3, 34 to 6.21 ). The format is 30 x 23 cm, the text is in a column with 24 rows. The letters are large and tilted to the left, accents and spiritus asper and lenis are present, there is no itazistischen error. The Gospels are arranged in order of Western manuscripts ( Matthew, John, Luke, Mark ). The text by Matthew 16.2 B-3 ​​will be omitted.

Folio 158 of the Codex are held in the Bodleian Library ( Auct. T. infr 2.2) in Oxford and 99 Folio in the Russian National Library ( Gr. 33) in Saint Petersburg.
