Colm O'Reilly
Colm O'Reilly ( born January 11, 1935 in Colmcille, County Longford, Ireland) is a retired bishop of Ardagh.
Life
After leaving school, O'Reilly studied Catholic Theology at St. Mel 's College, Longford. On June 19, 1969 O'Reilly was ordained a priest.
O'Reilly was appointed by Pope John Paul II appointed Bishop of Ardagh on 24 February 1983. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Armagh, Cardinal Tomás Ó Fiaich, on 10 April of the same year. Co-consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Ireland, Archbishop Gaetano Alibrandi, and the Bishop of Down and Connor, Cahal Brendan Daly.
On July 17, 2013 Francis Pope accepted his resignation age-related.
