Comanche is a village in the department of La Paz in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Comanche is the central place of the district ( bolivian: municipality ) in the Province of Comanche Pacajes. The village is located on the Bolivian plateau at an altitude of 4042 m on the line La Paz - Oruro.

Geography

Comanche is located between the mountain ranges of the Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Central in the Andean dry climate of the Altiplano region has a pronounced diurnal climate in which the mean temperature fluctuations during the day be more pronounced than in the course of the seasons.
