Condé Nast Building

The Four Times Square (also known as Condé Nast Building ) is a skyscraper in Times Square in Manhattan, whose construction was completed in January of 2000.

Description

The building shall pay its address (4 Times Square ) the name of Condé Nast Publications, a U.S. publishing group whose flagship is the magazine Vogue. In 2014, the company will, however, move out of the building and relocate its headquarters to the newly built One World Trade Center at Ground Zero.

The usable office space of 164 284 square meters. The building has 48 floors and is 247 meters high. Thus, it is currently the 16- tallest building in New York. After the destruction of the World Trade Center, a 94 -meter-high radio mast for the transmission of broadcast signals has been installed on the roof. Under the consideration of the building with a total height of 341 meters according to the One World Trade Center, the Empire State Building and the Bank of America Tower is the fourth tallest structure in New York.

In the northwest corner of the building is the NASDAQ, the largest American stock market, housed.

Owner of the building is the thirst Organization. The plan was by the architectural firm Fox & Fowle. The building was built by Tishman Construction.
