Conor Oberst

Conor Mullen Oberst (* February 15, 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska ) is an American musician.

Life and work

Conor Oberst began with 13 years of making music. He took his first song according to his own statement includes a children's cassette recorder and an acoustic guitar. In the same year he founded with his brother Justin together the label Lumberjack Records, now known as Saddle Creek.

1995 to 1997 he played as a guitarist and vocalist for Commander Venus. In 1996, colonel in the Magnetas and this year was also a member of Park Ave, where he sat on the drums. At 17, he was already full-time musician.
