Constantine Bohachevsky
Constantine Constantine Bohacewskyi also Bohachevsky (Ukrainian: Костянтин Богачевський, born June 17, 1884 in Manajiv, Ukraine, † January 6, 1961 ) was the first Metropolitan of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the United States and Archbishop of Philadelphia.
Life
Constantine Bohacewskyi was ordained priest on 31 January 1909 and is " Sacrae Theologiae Doctor " (STD = Latin academic title for theologians ). On May 20, 1924, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Amisus and at the same time as apostolic vicar for the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the United States.
