Cormeilles -en- Vexin is a commune with 1133 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Val- d'Oise of the Ile- de -France region; it belongs to Arrondissement Pontoise and Canton Marines. The inhabitants " Cormeillais " or " Cormeillaises " call themselves.
Geography
The community Cormeilles -en- Vexin is located 36 kilometers north of Paris. It is located in the Regional Natural Park Vexin français.

History
Gallo - Roman remains bear witness to an early settlement of the place. Cormeilles -en- Vexin belonged in the 10th century to a Seugneurie. The castle was destroyed in 949 by the Normans.
