Coxwell (TTC)

Coxwell is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Bloor- Danforth line of the Toronto Subway, at the corner of Danforth Avenue and Coxwell Avenue. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 16,700 passengers (2009 /10).

It is close to the East York Civic Centre, the Town Hall of the formerly independent city of East York is. It offers connecting flights to two bus lines, wherein the turning space is arranged around the station building. The opening of the station took place on 26 February 1966 in conjunction with the section Keele - Woodbine.
