Cristian Stellini

Cristian Stellini (* April 27, 1974 in Busto Arsizio ) is an Italian football player.

Career

Cristian Stellini began his career in 1992 at Novara Calcio, for his team, he completed his first appearances in the fourth-highest division. Two years later signed the defender at third division SPAL. There he established himself at once as an important part of the team and secured a regular place. In 1996 Stellini to Ternana Calcio, with which he became the fourth division Serie C2 to Serie B within two years. Even at its next station Como Calcio he could again several successes and rose within two years with the team from Serie C1 to Serie A.

After one season in the top division of the high-altitude flight was stopped and the team got back into the B series. The defender then signed with FC Modena, where he was, however, used only sporadically. In January 2004, he sold them to the then second division Genoa. He closed the season 2004 /05 with the Genoese in first place in Serie B now and would thus be resurfaced in the highest league. Due to match-fixing, the club was doomed to relegation to Serie C1. Within two years, in which Stellini received regular inserts, managed to return to the Series A.

In the summer of 2007, the defenders decided to leave the club and agreed afterwards with the AS Bari on a collaboration. After the 2007/08 season ended with a placement in mid-table, succeeded a year later with the Apuliern the promotion for the top flight. End of the season 2009/10, his contract was not renewed.
