Crystal Castles (video game)
Crystal Castles is an arcade game that was made in 1983 by Atari. It is controlled with a trackball and reminiscent of Pac -Man, but has an isometric view. The game was ported to various home computer and game console Atari 2600.
Game play
The player controls a bear named Bentley Bear, and must pick up in a three dimensional castle gems by running over them. Served a trackball in the arcade version to control. When all gems are collected, you get to the next level. There are some opponents who themselves collect stones and about which one can fly by pressing a button. There are stairs, elevators, tunnels as abbreviations and invisible teleporter. The game consists of ten levels, the first nine with four locks, level 10 is only a single lock.

Description and features
The game was very popular and successful.
- If Bentley Bear loses a life, appear depending on the remaining number of different speech bubbles, like in a comic book ( BYE, OH NO or OUCH ).
- The high score initials appear as block graphics in the next game.
- All the music was classical ( Nutcracker Suite and 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky, Mephisto Waltz by Liszt ).
- The game was so successful that there was conversion kits for other arcade equipment.
