Cuvette-Ouest Department

Cuvette -Ouest (English Westcuvette ) is a department of the Republic of Congo with the capital Ewo.

Geography

The Department is located in the west of the country, bordered to the north by the Department Sangha, in the south and east by the Department cuvette and to the west by Gabon. Among the cities next Ewo includes Etoumbi.

History

Cuvette -Ouest was established in 1995 by the separation of the Cuvette region. Since 2002, both labeled " Department ".
