Damjan Dervarič

Damjan Dervarič ( born February 6, 1982 in Ljubljana, SR Slovenia) is a Slovenian ice hockey player who stands since 2010 for HDD Olimpija Ljubljana in the Austrian Hockey League contract.

Career

Damjan Dervarič began his career as a hockey player in his hometown for HDD Olimpija Ljubljana for the first team, he was active in the Slovenian Hockey League from 1999 to 2005. During this period, the defender between 1999 and 2004 five times in a row Slovenian champion. He then moved on to league rivals Olimpijas HK Jesenice, with whom he also won the national championship in 2006, 2008 and 2009 and for which he mostly came in the Austrian Hockey League from the 2006 /07 are used.

The 2009/10 season began Dervarič at HDK Maribor Stavbar in Slohokej League, returned in January 2010, however, to Olimpija Ljubljana back, for only in the Slovenian Hockey League, he stood up to end of the season on the ice. Since the season 2010/11 the national team again belongs to the team Olimpijas from the Austrian Hockey League.

Internationally

For Slovenia Dervarič took at junior level at the U18 Junior B European Championships in 1999 and 2000 in part and the U20 Junior C World Championships in 2000, 2001 and the U20 Junior B World Cup 2002.

In the senior level, he stood in his country's squad at the World Championships Division I in 2004 and 2007, at the World Championship of Division IA in 2012 and at the World Championships in 2003, 2005, 2008 and 2011.
