Daniel Rono

Daniel Rono ( born July 13, 1978) is a Kenyan long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

In 1995 he won the Alster and the Altöttinger half marathon. His personal best in the half marathon, he presented 1:00:14 h 2002 in Groningen.

In 2005 he won the Madrid Marathon 2006 Mumbai Marathon and the Toronto Waterfront Marathon. In 2007 he finished the Paris Marathon and the third at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in second place.

In 2008, he did better than second in the Rotterdam Marathon his personal best by almost three minutes to 2:06:58 h and was third in the New York City Marathon. In 2009 he was second in the Boston Marathon, 2010 seventh in Rotterdam.
