Daniele Greco
Daniele Greco ( * March 1, 1989 in Galatone ) is an Italian triple jumper.
Sports career
Greco played in his youth football before a sports teacher recognized his talent and athletic easily brought in the triple jump. At the Track World Junior Championships in Bydgoszcz in 2008 he finished fourth. The following year, in Kaunas U23 European champion and third in the Mediterranean Games in Pescara. However, he missed the World Championships in Berlin 34th of qualification into the finals significantly. In 2010 at the World Indoor Championships in Doha and at the European Championships in Barcelona, he could not qualify for the final,. At the European Indoor Championships 2011 in Paris, he was eighth.
2012 could Greco his achievements in the field of well over 17 meters and stabilize international breakthrough. At the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul, he finished fifth.
