Acquaviva delle Fonti

Acquaviva delle Fonti is a southern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 20,905 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Bari, in Puglia. The village is located about 25 kilometers south of Bari.

History

The town grew around the Norman fortress. In the 12th century Concattedrale di S. Eustachio was built, which today serves as the Co- Cathedral of the local diocese.

Traffic

Through the village leads the Autostrada A14, which leads coming from Bari to Taranto.
