Career

The first club of Padelli was Como Calcio. In Como the goalkeeper played in the youth team. In 2004, he signed a professional contract with Sampdoria. In 2006 Padelli was loaned to Pizzighettone. He arrived there on 33 missions. From 2006 to 2007, the Italian was at FC Crotone under contract, but he came only once used. On January 12, 2007 Padelli signed a contract with Liverpool, where he was on loan until end of season third-choice goalkeeper. Liverpool manager Rafael Benítez said of Padelli: " He is a very good young goalkeeper, moreover he has a strong option for the future of the club.
