Dario Vujičević

Dario Vujičević ( born April 1, 1990 in Sarajevo, SFR Yugoslavia, now Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a German - Croatian football player of Bosnian origin. The midfielder is the pro squad of the Dutch first division club Heracles Almelo.

Career

Association

Vujičević was born in Sarajevo. Two years later, when the Bosnian war broke out, he moved with his family to Germany and settled down in Gronau. There he played football at Borussia Emsdetten.

By 2007, he played for the youth teams of FC Schalke 04, before he moved to the junior level of Dutch club FC Twente Enschede.

During the season 2008/ 09 he was picked up by coach Steve McClaren in the professional squad Enschede, but most games played for the reserve team of the club. On 24 April 2009 he finally came to his debut in the Eredivisie. In the match against SC Heerenveen Vujičević came on in the 85th minute for Niels wave crest. In the 2009/10 season he was regularly employed and was able to complete the season to celebrate the first Dutch championship in club history with Twente.

In January 2011 he was loaned until the end of the season league rivals VVV -Venlo. End of January 2012 was dissolved his contract with Twente.

For the 2012/13 season Vujičević was committed by the Dutch first division club Heracles Almelo. He signed a two-year contract until June 2014 with the option of a further year.

Vujičević graduated the previous 8 games for Croatia U -21 national team.
