Darren Lapthorne

Darren Lapthorne (born 4 March 1983) is an Australian racing cyclist.

Darren Lapthorne began his career in 2006 at the Australian Professional Continental team Drapac Porsche. In his first year he won the teams Road Championships. He also was once third in the stage Herald Sun Tour. In January 2007, he celebrated his biggest success by winning the road race in the Australian road Radmeisterschaft. In 2012 he finished third in New Zealand Cycle Classic in second place in the overall standings behind compatriot Jay McCarthy.
