David Edgar ( born May 19, 1987 in Kitchener, Ontario ) is a Canadian football player who is currently active for Burnley in the Football League Championship.

Career

Edgar took part in a tournament offered by Manchester United as a nine year old. He knew to persuade and received an offer to go to the Youth Section of the Club. However, he declined the offer and remained in Canada. Five years later, he accepted a transfer abroad and went to Newcastle United. From 2003 he played in the reserve team. On 26 December 2006 he made ​​his debut in the Premier League game against Bolton Wanderers. A week later he scored on New Year 's 2-2 draw against ManUtd his first Erstligator.
