David Hoflin

David Hoflin (born 25 February 1979 in Stockholm ) is an Australian actor of Swedish descent.

Hoflin was born as the younger of two children in Sweden. His older sister is called Emma. The family emigrated when Hoflin was four years old, to Australia. At the age of 9 years, he got his first film role in the movie A Cry in the Dark alongside Meryl Streep and Sam Neill. Other small roles followed. Larger notoriety gained Hoflin for his role in the youth series Ocean Girl, in which he held until 1997 in four seasons personified the figure of Jason Bates in 1994.

1997 highlighted Hoflin his high school graduation, then began to study history, archeology and art of film, but then abandoned his studies due to a move and the benefit of his acting career from. From 2007 to 2008 he starred in the Australian soap Neighbours in the role of Oliver Barnes. In 2011 he returned for a two-week guest appearance. 2012/2013 he played a return visitors forming character in the television series Alcatraz and was also seen in episodes of NCIS, Criminal Minds and Touch.

Hoflin is married to his former neighbors - fellow actress Natalie Blair since January 2013. The couple lives in Los Angeles.
