David Wrigley

David Wrigley ( born June 1, 1980 in Washago, Ontario ) is a Canadian ice hockey player ( striker ), who now runs for the Bietigheim Steelers in the second division.

Career

Wrigley performed for the first time in the 2000/01 season in the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League ( OPJHL ) in appearance, in which he rushed for the Couchiching Terriers and it brought in 47 games on 125 points.

In the years between 2000 and 2005 he played for the Mercyhurst College in the NCAA before joining during the season 2004/ 05 to Muskegon Fury in the United Hockey League, for which he was also in the 2005/06 season on the ice.

In the season 2006/07, its stations were called in the ECHL Victoria Salmon Kings and Pensacola Ice Pilots, before he made ​​the jump to Europe in 2007.

In the following season 2007/ 08 he was initially the EV Landsberg 2000 under contract. When he had to save for financial reasons at the squad, he followed his former coach Larry Mitchell to the Augsburg Panthers in the German Hockey League.

From the 2008 / 09-2012 season Wrigley ran with the shirt number 24 for the EHC Munich.

In July 2012, he signed a one-year contract with the Tohoku Free Blades

For the 2013/2014 season Wrigley returns to Germany. He is the player Bietigheim Steelers in the second division.
