Deceiver of the Gods (English for scammers of the gods ) is the ninth studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Amon Amarth. It was released in Sweden and Finland on the 19th, in Germany on 21 and in the U.S.. Former Candlemass vocalist Messiah Marcolin has on 25 June 2013 track " Hel " a guest appearance.
The title of the album and the artwork of Tom Thiel were announced on April 12, 2013. A day later, also the title song of the album on the official website of the band as a stream and free download was made available.
