December (George Winston album)

December is the fourth album by pianist George Winston, it was recorded in 1981. Currently, it is re-released on the label Dancing Cat Records. The music album marks the end of a trilogy of autumn and winter motifs that Winston published between 1980 and 1982 at Windham Hill. This trilogy formed a foundation for the emerging music genre New Age.

Reception

William Ruhlmann, who discussed the album for the music database Allmusic, it denotes a good reason ( " with good reason" ) as the mother of all solo albums. An audience of millions have be stirred by the music at the same time, soothe, relax and let raise.

The album debuted in January 1985 on the Billboard 200, a, was ranked 54 and talked to 99 weeks, almost two years in the American charts.

The American Association of Phono RIAA certified ten years after the publication of the third platinum record for more than three million records sold.
