Del Topoll

Del Topoll ( born October 21, 1933, Durban, Manitoba ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who was active among other things, for the Cincinnati Mohawks of the International Hockey League and the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League from 1952 to 1970.

Career

Del Topoll began his career as a hockey player with the Cincinnati Mohawks, for which he was active in the season 1952/53, in the International Hockey League and with whom he won the Turner Cup in his rookie year. Then the attacker played four years for the Chicoutimi Sagueneens from the Western Hockey League before he reached the end of the season in 1957/58 two points scorer, including a goal in six games for the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Then stood Topoll with the exception of the 1965/66 season as he prepares for the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Professional Hockey League was a part of the game while active exclusively in the Western Hockey League on the ice, where he first five years for Spokane Comets, was a year for the Seattle Totems, two years for the San Francisco Seals, and 1966/67, for the San Diego Gulls, in the 1967/68 season for the Phoenix Roadrunners and finally for the Denver Spurs on the ice, at where he ended his career in 1970.

Overall Topoll graduated over 1,000 games in the Western Hockey League and the Quebec Hockey League. During his 18 -year career, he scored 269 goals and 555 assists while. For his athletic achievements Topoll was honored with induction into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame.
