Delarof Islands

The Delarof Islands are a group of small uninhabited islands in the far west of the Andreanof Islands, which belong to the Aleutian Islands. The land area is 165.349 km ² of the group. The Delarofs include a total of eleven islands. These are:

  • Gareloi Iceland
  • Ilak Iceland
  • Kavalga Iceland
  • Ogliuga Iceland
  • Skagul Iceland
  • Day Islands
  • Tanadak Iceland
  • Ugidak Iceland
  • Ulak Iceland
  • Unalga Iceland

The Delarofs be separated from the Andreanof Islands to the east by the Tanaga Strait. The Amchitka Street demarcates the islands to the west of the Council of Iceland.

The Islands are part of the Alaska Maritime Delarof National Wildlife Refuge.
