Denis Lawson
Denis Lawson ( born September 27, 1947 in Crieff, Perth and Kinross ) is a Scottish actor and theater performer.
Life
Denis Lawson is known for his roles as Wedge Antilles in the original Star Wars trilogy and as the owner and lawyer Gordon Urquhart in the film Local Hero British. He is a busy television actor. In 2002 he also completed his first work as a director, one based on the short story Solid Geometry by Ian McEwan short film with his nephew Ewan McGregor in the lead role.
Lawson is the uncle of Ewan McGregor. He was married from 2004 until her death in 2005 with the actress Sheila Gish. Previously, the two were romantically involved for over 20 years. Lawson is the father of a child from a previous relationship.
