Deniz Aytekin

Deniz Aytekin ( born July 21, 1978 in Nuremberg, Germany) is a German football referee.

Career

Deniz Aytekin is an arbitrator for the TSV Altenberg and since 2004 DFB referee. Since the season 2008/ 09 Aytekin is used in the Bundesliga. He had his Bundesliga debut on 27 September 2008 at Hertha BSC game against Energie Cottbus. Since 2011 he has also FIFA referee.

His main job is in business administration and business owners / managers of several consulting firm and lives in Obersasbach. He whistles for referees group Fuerth.

On 1 April 2011 he led the match between FC St. Pauli and FC Schalke 04 at Millerntorplatz. He broke the game in the 89th minute with the score at 2-0 to Schalke from after his assistant Thorsten Schiffner was hit by a full beer mugs at the neck. It was the seventh game crash in Bundesliga history.

His first international game led Aytekin on 21 July 2011 at the game the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League 2011/ 12 between RNK Split and NK Domžale.

Aytekin took as a " goal-line " at the European Football Championship in 2012 as part of the DFB referee Wolfgang Stark trailer combination to participate.

He was first employed as a referee at a senior international on September 11, 2012 in the qualifying match for the 2014 World Cup between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Latvia.

In the group stage of the Champions League Aytekin was first used on 23 October 2012 at the match between FC Nordsjælland and Juventus.
