Derek Sikua

David Derek Sikua ( born September 10, 1959 in Ngalitavethi, Guadalcanal Province ) is a Solomon Islands politician.

Career

Derek Sikua was from 1993 to 2005 in various ministries worked. In 2006 he was elected to Parliament in May of the same year he became Minister of Education under Manasseh Sogavare. 20 December 2007 to 25 August 2010, he was himself Prime Minister of the Solomon Islands.
