Dickson Marwa

Dickson Marwa ( Dickson Marwa Mkami; born March 9, 1982 in Tarime, Mara Region ) is a Tanzanian long distance runner.

2003 and 2005 he won the Gold Coast Marathon. In 2006 he was eighth in the 5000m and sixth in the 10,000 m at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, third in the Route du Vin and twelfth in the road race World Championships in Debrecen. The following year he was at the World Athletics Championships in Osaka 10,000 m at rank 16 and was eighth in the road race World Championships in Udine.

In 2008 he was third at the RAK Half Marathon, and at the Olympic Games in Beijing, he won the 10,000 m on the 14th Place.

In 2009, he came at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin in the 10,000 m at the 16th place and won the Grand Prix of Prague.

Dickson Marwa is 1,78 m tall and weighs 58 kg. By 2007, he was cared for by African- Sport Promotion, then Demadonna of Athletics.
