Diera-Zehren

Diera- Zehren is a municipality in the center of Saxony, in the district of Meißen.

Geography and transport

The community Diera- Zehren located in the northern part of the district on both banks of the Elbe. It is located about 6 kilometers north-west of Meissen and 16 kilometers southeast of Riesa. The B 6 runs through the community. The town lies at the mouth of the creek in the same heretics and belongs to Lommatzscher care. Several of its districts are counted as Elbweindörfern.

History

On 1 January 1999, the independent villages Diera were ( with the districts Golk, Kleinzadel, Löbsal, Naundörfel, Nieschütz and Zadel ) and Zehren ( with the districts spline bush, mixed wit, Obernaundorf, top and Niederlommatzsch, top and Niedermuschütz, Schieritz, Seebschütz and Seilitz ) merged to form the new municipality Diera- Zehren with a total of 21 districts.
