Dietrich, Count of Oldenburg
Dietrich von Oldenburg ( * 1390, † February 14, 1440 ) was the successor of his elder brother Christian VI. from 1423 Graf von Oldenburg out of the house of Oldenburg. From 1402-1407 he lived in the Welsburg (municipality Dötlingen ), which was destroyed in 1407 by the people of Bremen.

Dietrich - son of Count Christian V of Oldenburg and Countess Agnes von Hohenstein - was married in first marriage with Adelheid von Oldenburg- Delmenhorst ( † ca 1404). From his second marriage in 1423 closed with Heilwig of Holstein ( * ca 1398/1400, † 1436 ), daughter of Count Gerhard VI. of Holstein- Rendsburg, children came from the following:

Dietrich had an illegitimate daughter " Mette Wunsflete " (c. 1410), the 1431 Rembert Bernefuer (* 1405, † after 1488 ), who later became Bailiff of Oldenburg, Delmenhorst and Wildeshausen, married.
