Dinawan Island

Pulau Dinawan is the Malaysian state of Sabah owned island in the South China Sea. It is located about 3.5 kilometers from Kimani in the extension of the mouth of the Sungai Kimani and about 20 kilometers south-west of Kota Kinabalu.

When viewed from the seaward side, acts Pulau Dinawan, as it consisted of three separate islands. The island is wooded and surrounded by reefs and sandbanks. The private owner operates a tourist resort on the island.

Pulau Dinawan is often confused with the lying on the east coast of Sabah Pulau Danawan.
