Dioh Williams
Dioh Williams ( born October 8, 1984 in Monrovia ) is a Liberian footballer. The 1.84 m wide and 70 kg striker played most of his career in Northern Europe.
Career
Williams played as a teenager in his home country before he first went to Sweden in 1999. After he returned a short time later at his home, he joined in 2002 the unterklassig antretenden Swedish club Floda BoIF to. There he impressed as a regular scorer, so signed him the Gothenburg club BK Hacken, for the already aufliefen the countrymen Dulee Johnson and Jimmy Dixon from the second division season 2003. With 16 goals this season he sat down behind Göran Marklund and Mats mountain lilies third on the scorers the league and led the club thus to the third place in the standings. However, in the relegation matches against GIF Sundsvall he missed the team's promotion to the Allsvenskan. In the subsequent season, he scored again 16 goals this season, only Stefan Bärlin outdid him with 23 goals during the season. This time, however, he placed the club at the top and was promoted to the first division.
With eight goals this season Williams helped the team to players like Christian Källqvist, Teddy Lucic or Johan Lind for relegation in the Allsvenskan. In the following season his batting average dropped, he succeeded only four goals. In parallel, the club was in the relegation battle again and ended the Premiership season of 2006 in the relegation place. Once again, he remained here with the team unsuccessfully, after two defeats against the Stockholm club IF Brommapojkarna the club joined the program in the second division to. After the descent he was the club initially loyal and extended in March 2007, his contract until the end of 2008. Having, however, shot ten goals again until the summer to higher class and foreign interests and the end of August reported he signed a contract with Danish club Aarhus GF.
His debut in the Super League crowned Williams with the game-winning hit in a 1-0 away win against Randers FC. In the rest of the season he made with Peter Gray Lund in attack of the club, who finished the season on the last non- relegation zone. In the first half of the Super League season 2008/ 09 he distinguished himself as a five- time scorer before he was injured during the winter break on the Achilles tendon. After half a year break, he returned to the football field in the summer. However, he did miss his goal threat in the sequence, so that he lost his place and could not prevent the descent of the club in the second division.
End of August 2010 Williams negotiated with the Russian club Alania Vladikavkaz and moved on loan to the Premjer League. In the 1-2 defeat against CSKA Moscow with a goal by George Florescu at goals conceded by Zoran Tošić Seydou Doumbia and on 29 August he was in the starting, but was replaced at half-time. This remained until the end of the season his only use in the highest Russian league.
In January 2011, Williams returned to BK Hacken back who could agree on a change after one month of negotiations with Aarhus GF and players, and signed the Gothenburg club a contract with three years duration. Here he stood for long stretches of the season 2011 in the shadow of René Makondele, John Chibuike and Mathias Ranégie and only came in September, when the latter two the club had left during the summer transfer period, to more playing time and stood up to the end of the season in the starting lineup. In the last two games he scored at once, but the club missed by respective defeats as in sixth place in a European Cup. In the following season he was at first only a substitute, as the last year for a long time injured unusual Björn Anklev had established in the attacking row next Makondele and the newly obligated Abdul Majeed Waris Centre Forward. However, from the summer he stood in the middle range of common field in the starting eleven, his season debut in the starting line-up in late June, he was crowned in the 2-1 win at Örebro SK with his first goal of the season and the template for the second hit by Makondele.
