Dippishausen-Oftershausen

Dippishausen - Oftershausen was from 1953 to 1984, the name of a municipality in the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland. Her name was in the 19th century Oftershausen, according to one of the villages in the municipality. In 1900 a first name change to Dippishausen, 1953 was finally renamed Dippishausen - Oftershausen.

In 1984, the local church Dippishausen - Oftershausen joined to Siegershausen which merged with the local communities Alterswilen, Altishausen, Ellighausen, Lippoldswilen, Neuwilen, Dotnacht and Hugelshofen and the two Munizipalgemeinden Alterswilen and Hugelshofen the political community Kemmental 1996.
