District Council of Mount Remarkable

Mount Remarkable located in the Northern region, about 240 km north of the city of Adelaide at the northeastern end of the Spencer Gulf. The area around Mount Remarkable forms the southern part of the Flinders Ranges. The LGA includes 23 districts and towns. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in Melrose in the center of the LGA.

Management

The Council of Mount Remarkable has seven members who are elected by the residents of the four Wards (two each from Coastal, Plains and Ranges Ward, one from the Forest Ward). These four districts are set independently of the districts. From the circle of Councillor also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
