Divín

Divín ( until 1927 slovak " Divin "; Diwein German, Hungarian Divény - older even diviny ) is a town in central Slovakia.

Location

It is located on the border of Krupinská planina and Lučenská kotlina on Budinský creek south-east of the village in the reservoir Ružiná opens, 20 km from Lučenec.

History

The municipality with the castle Diwein was first mentioned in 1329 as Dyun.
