DJ Misjah

DJ Misjah ( born September 1, 1971 in Rotterdam as Mischa van der Heiden ) is a Dutch DJ, producer and label owner.

His career began in 1991, in which he published his first records under the pseudonym Dyewitness. Observing the earth, What would you like to hear, The Future and The Master Plan were big hits.

After these successes asked the record company Midtown Records, if he would run their own sub-label for them. Misjah agreed, and in December 1994 launched X - Trax, published on which artists such as Ferry Corsten, Umek or Rank1 plates. His published on X - Trax Track Access succeeded in 1995 in the UK charts.

Producers like Josh Wink, Jam & Spoon, Reflect, Format One, Finitribe, Georg Immanuel Nagel or Denki Groove Misjah commissioned to make remixes for them.

Misjah published under various names, numerous plates in various styles of electronic music. In 1999 he started a new project called Ambassador. Under this pseudonym he remixed Blaze - My Beat. The remix became a huge club hit and earned him a new placement in the UK charts.

In December 1999, he finished his work for X - Trax. In 2001, he founded a new label called ReRun and ReRun Bookings DJ agency.

Misjah released records on various labels such as Craft Music, Wetmusik, Pocket, Zync, Mankind, or Jericho, which were played by the likes of Adam Beyer, Sven Vath and Carl Cox.

Since he began his DJ career in 1994, he continuously played countless gigs around the world, including at major events such as Dance Valley, Roskilde, Mayday or Nature One.

Misjah also runs a mastering studio.
