Djamel Haimoudi

Djamel Haimoudi (Arabic: جمال حيمودي, DMG Ǧamāl Ḥaimūdī; born December 10, 1970 in Oran, Algeria) is an Algerian football referee. He is an international referee since 2004 by FIFA.

Career

Haimoudi was referee at the African Cup 2008, the U20 World Cup 2011 and the African Cup of Nations in 2012. Additionally, he has led several games of the CAF Champions League and qualifying matches for the World Championships. In 2012 he was honored by the CAF Africa Referee of the Year. Two months later, he was recognized as an arbiter of the finals between Nigeria and Burkina Faso at the African Cup of Nations 2013.

He participated in the Confederations Cup in 2013 and is on the shortlist for the FIFA World Cup 2014.
