Geographical Location

Mining oak wood is located three kilometers southeast of the municipal center small Strehlitz six kilometers west of the county town of Krapkowice ( Krappitz ) and 25 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship.

History

The town was first mentioned in 1258. 1867, the Catholic church was built.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 419 voters voted to remain in Germany and 76 for Poland. In Gutsbezirk Mining oak wood 80 people voted for Germany and Poland for six. Mining oak wood remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 796 inhabitants in the village. On July 21, 1936, the town was renamed in Burg water. 1939, the place had 798 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Dobra and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to powiat Krapkowicki. On 17 May 2006, the German Mining oak wood was in the village of Klein Strehlitz, plays, introduced as a second official language. On 24 November 2008, the City also received the official German place names Mining oak wood.
