Dolignon

Dolignon is a commune with 57 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Aisne in the Picardie region.

Geography

By lying in the district of Laon in Canton Rozoy -sur -Serre place leads the department of road D110. Northeast of the village lies the Bois de Dolignon.

1793 counted 145 inhabitants of the place. 1821 the population reached 217 people with the greatest number, but continuously declined since. 1911 only lived 97, 1962 88 and 1999 45 people in the village. Since the number rose slightly again. 2009 were counted 61 residents.

During the First World War German soldiers were billeted in the village church of Saint- Michel at times.
