Beaurieux (Aisne)

Beaurieux is a commune in the Aisne department in the Région Picardie. It belongs to the district of Laon, to Canton Craonne and community association Chemin des Dames. In the municipality of 785 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) on an area of 9.69 square kilometers.

Geography

The municipality is situated on the River Aisne, about 23 kilometers north-west of Reims. In the north, the territory extends to the southern slope of the ridge Chemin des Dames.
