Domagoj Vida

Domagoj Vida ( born April 29, 1989 in Osijek ) is a Croatian football player. Since January 2013 he is with the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev under contract.

Career

In the club

Vida played 14 years in his native city at the NK Osijek and went through there all youth departments. From 2006 to 2010 he played for Osijek in the Croatian first league. For the 2010/11 season he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen. During the season he came eight times in the UEFA Europa League action. However, in the Bundesliga he played only once, when he came off the bench on 5 March in the match against VfL Wolfsburg for the injured Manuel Friedrich.

In summer 2011, Vida joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Croatia to Dinamo Zagreb.

For the second half of 2012/13 Vida joined for six million euros to the Ukrainian club Dynamo Kiev. He signed a contract until the end of June 2018.

National

In 2010, Vida moved away from the U -21 squad in the Croatian national team on. He was nominated for the 2012 European Championship and came to use one.
