On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Dornbock, Chörau, Diebzig, Zabitz, Drosa, Elsnigk, Großpaschleben, Kleinpaschleben, Libbesdorf, Micheln, Osternienburg, Reppichau, Trinum and Wulfen merged to form a unified community Osternienburger country together.
