Movies

The Legend of Shenlong is the first of four Dragon Ball movies. He was followed by The Castle of demons, Son - Goku's first tournament and the way to power. However, the films of the Dragon Ball series are not, as in the Dragon Ball Z movies, more detailed or additional stories. They each tell a new and thus an alternative and stand-alone version of the plot of the manga or the anime Dragon Ball. Thus, the films include characters that do not occur anywhere in the manga Dragon Ball anime.

The published in 1989 live-action adaptation Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins ( Original Title: Xin qī lóng zhū Shen Long de Chuan Shuo ) is based on the anime The Legend of Shenlong.
