Drnovice

Drnovice ( German Drnowitz, also Dirnowitz ) is a municipality with 2374 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the Czech Republic. It is located 3.5 km west of Vyškov at 270-290 m above sea level. Level and belongs to the Okres Vyškov.

Attractions

  • Church of St. Lawrence, Baroque church from the second half of the 17th century, rebuilt in the first quarter of the 18th century.

Sports

Nationally known the village was the first football club FK Drnovice, who played from 1993 to 2002 and again in 2004/ 05 in the first Czech football league.
