Držková

Držková ( German Derschkowa, formerly Drschkowa ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers north-east of Fryšták and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Držková located in the Host One of Bergen at the mouth of the creek Držkovský creek in the Dřevnice. To the north of the Grúň ( 557 m) and Horni Lázek rise ( 566 m ) in the north- east, the Křemeničná (600 m) and Tisový ( 652 m ) east of the Humenec (703 m) and the Kopna (675 m), the South East Sýkornice ( 584 m ) south of the Vančica (510 m) and in the northwest of the Kuželek ( 638 m) and Okluk (606 m). The village is situated in the natural park Hostýnské mountains. North of the village rises the Dřevnice. The on- cadastre of the village Holý vrch ( 735 m ) is the geographical center of the host 's mountains.

Neighboring towns are U Brány, Hutě Dolinky, Močáry and Kosariska in the north, Nivky, Lhoty and Hostalkova in the northeast, Količko, Na Kopné, Hruby Les and Zara in the east, Podkopná Lhota U BACU, U Vaculů and Trnava in the southeast, Bily Kopeček and Kašava in the south, and Štěprová Vlčková in the southwest, and Kameňák Ráztoka in the west and U Juránků and Rusava in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of belonging to the reign Luckow villages Drzkowa Superiori and Drzkowa Inferiori took place in 1391 in Olomouc Landtafel. Drzkowa Superiori was probably destroyed by fire, according to legends, it is to be sunk, along with his church in the ground. Since 1466 only existed a village Drzkow. Through the village led the old trade route from Lukov after Vsetín. Since 1480 the village is gepfarrt after Kašava. 1548, the village was called Drssczkowa, then as Drschtkowa and 1617 as Drsstkowa. After the abolition of patrimonial Drštková / Drschkowa formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod. In 1851 the city was hit by a cholera epidemic. As of 1855, the village belonged to the district Vizovice and from 1868 to the district Holešov. 1890 a Catholic school was established in Drštková, previously was the tuition for the children of Catholics in Kašava. The Protestants sent their children to school after Hostalkova. 1887 again broke out cholera. In 1905 the school was retrained in Drštková to public school and the Protestant children there. Since 1924, the community is called Držková / Derschkowa. 1927 broke out in the village, a typhus epidemic. In 1935 the village consisted of 134 houses and 735 had consistently Czech inhabitants. Among them were 635 Catholics and 95 Protestants. 1935 Držková was assigned to the Zlín Region. From 1954 to Držková Okres Gottwaldov -venkov and in 1960 was again Okres Gottwaldov that since 1990 once again bears the name Okres Zlín after the political changes of 1989.
