Dufferin (TTC)

Dufferin is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Bloor- Danforth line of the Toronto Subway, at the intersection of Bloor Street and Dufferin Street. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 27,600 passengers (2009 /10).

In the vicinity is the Dufferin Mall, a large shopping center, which was built on the site of a former racecourse. It offers connecting flights to two bus lines. The opening of the station took place on 26 February 1966 in conjunction with the section Keele - Woodbine. Since September 2009, the station of a comprehensive modernization is subjected, which should be completed in April 2012. Included in the project is an artistic design.
